-To Order -

To order a flute, call 1 (516) 367-9133 or send an E-mail by clicking
the E-Mail Arrow on the left side of any page in this web site.  It's important
for you to provide me with the information I need to create a custom made flute.

If you're just learning to play, a flute in the key of "G" is usually
appropriate, to avoid too great a playing hole finger span.

"G" and "F#" are the most common keys associated with contemporary
Native American flute music, but I make flutes in higher and lower keys as well.
I like to ensure that a person's hands are large enough to play instruments
made in the deeper keys, before I make one for them.

Hawk Flies High flutes are mode 1 and 4, six hole, pentatonic scale, fixed block
flutes.  No tuning or adjustments are necessary.  To see photos of the flutes,
click the "Flute Photos" Arrow on the left side of any page in this web site.
